Farmers Market is held every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Beautiful Congress Square in Orleans “The Front Porch” of Orange County. Our Market is celebrating 21 seasons. 20 of them in Orleans.

The Buck A Book is full of new to used selections. Every child is invited to select and keep a book every market day.

This week you can expect from our home kitchens: scones, peanut brittle, fudge, nuts, breakfast muffins, cookies, cakes, pies, jams, jellies, dog treats, local wines, biscuits, syrups (peach, strawberry, shagbark hickory, blackberry, elderberry), cinnamon rolls, muffins, yeast bread, sourdough bread, gourmet breads, tarts, lemonade, tea, coffee, yeast rolls, marshmallows, brownies, peanut butter cups, granola mix and more. From our farms and home gardens: sweet potatoes, cantaloupe, sweet corn, Hackney grain or grass fed beef, red and green tomatoes, red or white potatoes, eggplant, raspberries, blackberries, Pure local honey, turnips, eggplant, rhubarb, green peppers, banana peppers, local wines, broccoli, onions, greens, lettuce, kale, flowers, plants and plant starts, fresh eggs, green beans, carrots, summer squash, chicken, rabbit, pork, zucchini, cucumbers, beets, and cabbage. From our talented Craft folks: Essential oils, bird feeders, bird Houses, gnomes, crochet and knit items, jewelry, purses, t-shirts (preprinted and custom made, burp cloths, quilted table runners, quilts, baby blankets, bibs (adult and child), bath bombs, candles and candle melts, greeting cards, goats milk soaps, lotions, lip balm, deodorant, stationary, woven rugs, pot holders, dish cloths, dish towels, key chains, wind chimes, wood furniture, wooden toys, wood signs, wood bowls, wooden dice for yard yahtzee, cornhole games, doll clothes, painted items, longhorn skulls, walking sticks, hand forged knives, wooden flags, scrubbies, children’s books by a local author, and much more added regularly.

Other offerings will be available from H’s Cantina, Pulled Pork available by the sandwich or by the pound.

The French Lick Market is held Tuesday on the Town Green from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
